...so the English premier season is coming to an end this coming weekend? What other programs are there to make me keep my subscrption active till the next season starts? I find the current premium bouquet does not have exciting programs to warrant payment of 72$ per month. The movies are too repetitive and boring. How many times are you going to keep screening ' how stella got her groove back'

The music channels are mainly targetting the young,who dont pay the subscription. You should give the adults a reason to keep keeping the channels alive. Where is the music for adults? Where is African music? Why dont you have a channel dedicated to African music-not African hip hop. I am talking about music by Baaba Maal. Selif Keita,Eric Wainaina,Oliver Mutukuzi,Yvonne Chakachaka,Ladysmith Black Mabazo,Hugh Masekhela,Congolese music etc. I am sure there are so many peple who would like to watch this kind of music. Unless otherwise,until the next English premier season,DSTV,bye for now

DSTV - NEED MUCH MORE!!!!

@magigi
Have you got the FTA Unit? To me it has some nice channels at no cost.
maybe you can backup your pay Tv option with it.

I concur with Magigi,especially on the movies part - actually dstv just has oldies,those movies you want to watch again and again. @sandu what is FTA,pardon my ignorance? On another note,is there anyone who has tried my tv? Some new paystation,tagline is something like 'remember TV Africa?'

Better still they should allow us to create our own bouquets. I only watch Discovery with the occasional History channel. The missus only watches Africa magic and E! For these I cant justify the cost. It only comes on during school hols for the kids. Never tried FTA (@smano - free to air),would it cater for my household needs stated above?

@mano,
FTA (Free To Air). I had done another post on the FTAs. We have hundreds of free digital radio & TV channels in our space. All you need is a unit to receive & decode them.
They are free as the name suggests...No monthly access fee.
