Ideas for family outing (December 10 - 12)

Hi friends,

Been given a difficult task to organise a good family outing for the weekend stated. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I've been restricted to choosing anywhere that is not on Mombasa Road or on the Western circuit (Nakuru, Naivasha, Bogoria).

Please shares your ideas with me on a good place to go have fun. The plan is to travel on Saturday, and spend the whole weekend doing something fun together and come back on Monday!

@Guka: Please don't say Garbatulla. We will have kids on our trip!

@Guka: Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Shame on you Shame on you ! I don't intend to have kids with you either on the trip!

I've checked out The Ark Lodge, but I'm afraid of the road. Considering that it will most likely be raining in December, I don't want to risk getting stuck in the wilderness with children! The rates are very reasonable as well!

Dec is usually dry up there and you would need a 4X4 either way although the road from their Mweiga gate(Nyeri side) to Geta gate (Kipipiri side) is relatively good. .....Alternatively,KWS offers guided trips with their cruisers at a fee.
