Obakoo should continue with the good job! Internet prices MUST come down!!! kenya is now a fibre country and mwanaichi deserves affordable connection for the country to achieve vision 2030. Thumbs up! to safcon for leading the battle front.

You have successfully purchased 600MB data bundle for KES 999.0 expiring on 2011-08-21. To check your data bundle balance SMS the word balance to 450.
Time: 22/07/2011 19:21:06.
How do I get the extra MBs?

Contact customer care, they'll add you your extra over 900MB

Called customer care last night. They have just called me back and told me they had problems with a number of customers. They will be adding the balance of 900MB either today or tomorrow.Applause Applause Applause

WOW . Safcom customer care CALLED YOU BACK ?????? .Safaricom >???? Hey i guess its a new day in Kenya with the New Constitution.....ehehe.

This is now one satisfied customer. The customer care called again to inform me that I have been given the 900 MB bundle balance and they were as good as their word.

Bkismat, SCOM is really changing, especially their CUSTOMER CARE if they did indeed CALL you BACK. This is completely unlikely them. Kudos!

l recall when BC was still a fresher as the CEO... he stated his first objective would be to improve the quality of their network & customer care service and it seems the later has come to pass!!!

It's nowadays possible to get issues sorted out via tweeting their tweeter account (not a must to call 100). Hapo ako juu.

Well, apparently, the speeds i get from the weekly unlimited peak at 32Kbps. I had to confirm this by trying to stream youtube and downloading torrents at 3am. Woe unto me. Never trust SafaricomLiar Liar , i suspect its "virtually" unlimited.

Capping the unlimited makes sense especially when we have heavy users like you downloading torrents the whole day and ruining speeds for everybody. I've just bought the 8Gb bundle and the speed is awesome!

Safaricom unlimited data: close, but no cigar.
But it's a start, so I'm not complaining.

Safaricon has slashed the cost of internet by 150%. I hope am not the only one who is excited by these news. If you used to get 600mbs for 999Ksh you ill be geting 1500mb.
