Can parliament be sued?

McReggae,you really amaze. The whole point of yesterday's parliamentary business was that the reappointment was illegal and that their annulling it was legal. Period!

It is a whole thing to argue with the brilliance and apparent honesty of David Musila,who voted as a matter of principle,and another to justify parliament's action on the basis of law and want us to believe we should not bother citing that law.

brewer,i live in the USA and i suppose you live in Kenya' those events happened in Kenya yesterday,you should have found why the happened and under what law.

mpenzi,i think you are cofusing people here' i already answered your questions' that was not about Ringera the person but rather how he got there(his reappointment as opossed to his competency if he has any) that was an issue and defined to you what a mandamus order is and when its used as opossed what you think it should be.Do yourself a favour and check it out on google,or simple pay me to teach you.

I couldn’t miss out on this after I was told about it by a few guys.

As usual we always seem to miss the point. We pray for rain and forget to plant trees.

This is what happened yesterday and forgive me if I don’t have all the facts right.

· Someone decided Ringera must go

· Someone said because he was ineffective

· Someone said because it was good politics

· Someone said because of the 'mood' of the nation

· Someone said because it will 'tame' the executive

I don’t know Ringera neither I’m I privy to the effectiveness of his team or not. As for taming someone who doesn’t know there are IDP’S,or the mood of the nation,that is a topic for another day.

The question is how it was done and its effects on the Kenyan people. i.e. me as I try and figure out how to buy a piece of property.

By your 'honorable' Mp’s deciding in their 'wisdom' that they can now revoke anything in the Kenya Gazette,it means that every time I buy a property in Kenya,some guy who knows a few Mp’s can hire them and get my transaction revoked.

Heck. If I want to change my name,parliament can revoke it. If you want to sue anyone,your gazette notice can be revoked by power hungry assholes as long as the other party has the money.

It is all well and good to have the executive follow the law but does it make sense to now allow parliament become the judge and jury to all business transactions in the country?HELL NO!

Remove your faces from Ringera’s ass and get to understand what parliament has just done.

They are now in effect the judges to the laws that they create.

If they say KACA is ineffective,by all means,let them with same gusto they had against Ringera now come up with laws that will actually serve me when a policeman asks me for a bribe. Not trying to make me a slave to their politics and personality laden laws.

By the way,this is coming from someone who believes that everyone in gov’t including Ringera should be at home watching the grass grow.

When Kenyans will stop thinking about personalities,tribes,parties and any other new gimic,they may start thinking of the effects of some of the actions that these politicians make on their own and their children’s lives.
