Owners of the shares have got so frustrated and isntead no longer look at the prices, hence nobody to place a sales order.

35,000 shares traded! actually there is no supply.
what would you say of
NIC 15,000
NBK 8000
Total 1,600
KQ 20,000
actually the market is depressed and it is not Kenya re only.

obiero?

How comes we havent seen big volumes yet of the magnitude of a top 10 shareholder bailing out on this sleeping "giant".
Ama Obiero did a private transfer or an OTC?

There is a huge demand of 870,400 shares against a supply of only 12,500 shares. Is there something good to be announced that we do not know?

About time too. One wonders what those who were selling at minus 8 have between their ears.

@sufficiently. Huge volumes have traded in the last one month. Averages of 200,000 per day consistently. Dunno who sold out .....don't care, I bought in at an average of 8.10 which I reckon is a great entry price.

Iborian, some guys in wazua are not honest!
Anybody who was in the stock mrket in 2006/2007 has either :
1. sold at a loss ( except for a few Industrial counters) Eg BBank was at arounf 90/-, KQ was arounf 90/-, Access was around 32/- Kenya Re was around 16/-, NBK was around 60/-
2. If you didn't sell at a loss you are still holding, again at a loss
3 . Some clever guys sold (at a loss, bought again when price was lower and sold again to recover some of the losses). But bottom line is anyone who was in stock market in 2006/2007 longs for the second honey moon.

False.... no loss if you havent sold, it depends and your projected holding timing... if 2 months yes its a loss, if its 5 years there is no loss
