Please share any information regarding KRA auctions or the Ugandan equivalent URA auctions.
Are they good opportunities for making money?!

As scar said in the above thread, there used to be a problem with "cartels" or regular bidders for cars especially. Dont know if it still exists. Then remember that the auctions are conducted with respect to goods whose owners have defaulted on their tax / import obligations. Its hard to consider this as a steady source of income.

For sport,Asante! Do you have an idea how often they are held? At the moment am considering the auctions as a secondary income generator. My interest is in other goods, not cars. Will read the post u have provided.

I doubt that they are held at regular intervals. The notices are usually gazetted. Can keep tabs here:

Or call and ask smile

Also be sure to read the conditions of sale to determine other charges payable e.g. port charges.
