Just why did this company delist. They had a history of not paying dividend prior to delisting and an year after delisting they give a dividend of 16 bob followed by an interim of 10 bob.Having bought off minority shares at 65,It wil take them a paltry 4 year to recoup their investment.

According to my knowledge the company was taken over and the new owners bought back the minority holdings. Its true from then onwardd they have been declaring very good dividends.

That is what happens when a company has healthy reserves. Hawks buy into it and eat up all the reserves. In some cases the market valuation of the company is less than the value of the reserves or assets. Buy the share, pocket the reserves and sell the assets and walk away with a tidy profit

>I also note that the company rebounded from loss making. They must have cooked books to encourag minority to sel to them

Could be a cynical ploy to screw minorities but Tea has rebounded in the past 2 years thanks to lower Indian production.

You have a rare chance to buy into Williamson & Kapchorua with the high NAVs & high earnings but willing to stay in for the long term.

There are a certain complications to do with listing and among them is subjecting the worth of the company to speculatiion in addidtion to following the rules governing anouncements and how public companies are run. Do you think they wil relist after testing the murky waters? Hell no.
