Paraguay go through. That turf was shockingly pathetic! At this level? In such a big footballing country? Shame!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

What a night.
Brazil misses 4 penalties out of 4.
USA missed 3 of 4.

It has been nice watching women's football. There is greater teamwork, they dont roll on the pitch feigning injuries, and they dont try to get their opponents carded! I just wish they could wear tighter uniforms! And that they could exchange jerseys at the end of the game like their male counterparts!

I think Japan would have won the game within the 90 min if their strikers had been more clinical at the front but anyway i enjoyed the match and the results.

Congrats to Japan! I could not have wanted USA to win.
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Brazil and Paraguay match took a back seat as I had to watch the Women's final. It would have been unheard of some years ago, but the quality of display and the heartbreaking drama was too much to ignore. I liked Brazil-USA match with Wambach scoring at the death of extra time. I loved the finals jana with the scores see-sawing, it was Japan's to lose, especially vile walikuwa wanapanga game. US were left playing counter attacking. But it was good stuff from the ladies. Yeah, tighter playing kits will make it much better :)

As usual there was superb efficiency and organization by the Germans. But I have to give it to the ladies for their displays in the field. Maybe the men can learn a thing or two from them. No diving and rolling in the field like you have been hit by a bulldozer and then standing and running a few second later. A lot of amazing goals etc etc. It was a good tournament.
