Samsung. At about 7-8k you will get one with a querty keyboard. samsung also has the benefit of mobile tracker as long as its not a dual sim. Saw the phone in a safaricom shop.

It even has this android facility where you can track your phone when it is lost/stolen, regardless of whether the sim card or operator have been changed.

Through the web, you can take photos of the thief, get the last 10 SMS sent/received by the phone (sent to your gmail address), set a screaming siren (regardless of whether it is in silent mode or not), notify the thief that the gadget has been stolen. You can at worst clear the phone and SD card of all info. And it is all free.

Hiyo idiot is beginning to sound very good..

@livie... Chinese is a no no. Was given a new one for free recently, QWERTY, twin sim etc. My excitement lasted only a few hours. The battery was crap, couldn't shika net from any network.. I passed it on.

One BIG problem with the idiot phone is that its a data hog.
imagine every time you switch on your phone it has to update all those applications in the background.
bad bad bad bad bad bad . it will eat up your credit very very very fast..
