HALLO!

I want to travel to Tanzania using the temporary pass, can I download it online? how long will it take at nyayo house and how much is it?

am pressed for time and need the easiest way to get the permit without having to Que for hours.

does Tanzania have night bus travel from Kenya? What is the cheapest flight to Tanzania?

thanks.

Permit is 300/= and if you are there early in the morning it could take you less than 15mins to process it.

Night bus to TZ, depends on where you are going. If going to Dar and you take the night bus you will reach namanga and sleep till morning then proceed. Else you can take the day bus which leave at 6am or thereabouts. Buses - Dar Express, Akamba, Kampala coach etc.

If going to Mwanza side then a night bus (Akamba 10.30 pm. I think there are other buses. find out.) will be good cause the trip is like 14hours long.
Else you can take the early (5 - 6 am) nissan shuttles to Kisii or Migori then do a quick connection to sirari border. If there by 2pm you will be in luck cause there are many buses to mwanza from there. After 3pm it becomes harder to find onward connection to mwanza.

If arusha, you can take the nissans near jack and jill super market pale OTC and they get you to namanga then a connection to Arusha. Alternatively you can take a Riverside Shuttle (next to jevanjee garden) at 8am or 2 pm and you will be in arusha in 6 hours.

Enjoy your trip.

the best route and means to LOLIONDO is through magadi and by a 4*4 night time travel is not restricted and you don't have to worry about a pass.. no customs or border police to worry about.

Immigration at airports (dunno about other points of entry) require a yellow fever vaccination certificate. U can get one real fast at City Hall Annex at 1,800/-.

Please make sure you have that Chanjo (Yellow Fever Certificate). I had issue with one guy who had refused to let me in because of no Chanjo. In many cases, you may have to part with money if you dont have it.
