Kenyan Men should stop this BS

After a few years away from home, I came back for a visit and like a new comer, I had to hook up with old friends for good times, little did I know that in Kenya when you are hunging out with women, no matter who proposed for the drink or the meal, the man has to pay!Excuse me, the last time I was in kenya, my parent was holding my hand and footing the bill since I had no money on my name so didn't really know I was suppose to be paying every little thing, come on people! I looked around the pub and all the women were busy ordering and ordering and from the look of the men's faces, they were busy adding and subtracting, BS who started this? Men we need to stop these BS, unless you said you'll pay, if a woman make an order, she has to pay, screw this!

Hehe this is why I always tell the waiter to only put what I personally order on a seperate bill. Unless I offer to buy a round I generally just pay for my own drinks. In a place where thought is abandoned, freedom can become a curse.

Drunkard, don't shy away from your responsibilities. Kama hauna pesa hiyo siku, just postpone the date.

@drunkard has a point. Most women will invite you for a date or a series of dates and will contribute zero towards the bills.

@ Drunkard, you sound really mature, wish all women will behave like you and stop the parasitism tendencies. You go out with a workmate who earns more than you and she expects you to foot all the bills, pay for her taxi home etc. Doors of opportunity don't just open , they have to be unlocked & it's up to you to turn the knob.

Is it not hoping that one day, she will allow you to land your airbus on her airport without paying? This is Africa. YOu do it the African way or go back from where you came from. By the way, are you black or pink? If black, respect your culture. Only take out a girl you hope to one day enjoy the fruits of your labour. Or your argument is you share the landing rights without authority? "One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed." Rev Canon Karanja.
