Airtel has started a distributor programme but more of Multi level Marketing for you to promote their lines and get paid good money, all you need to invest is 1985/-kshs only to start, you must have an invitee though, which can be me to join the programme. This looks like a pyramid scheme to me.Two questions. 1.Where do you deposit the 1985/= with airtel or with you? 2.How does Airtel make its money i.e why would they pay such huge sums of money if I only brought a distributor and not a subscriber? 1.Answer. you dont deposit money to me, you buy the kit, comes with online account, 500/-airtel airtime and booklet.
2. Its definately not a pyramid, airtel wants to get more subscribers via mlm. thats it.

Is it me who is not getting this proposal? What exactly are you selling, lines? How do i sell a line and then invite the people who have bought them to start selling?  Common sense is the most evenly distributed quantity in the world. Everyone thinks he has enough.

This multilevel marketing company is called Pillar Technologies. See: http://www.pillartechafrica.com/. Apparently this program started in december 2010. The one problem with the programme is the distribution of the starter kits. The starter kits are currently being purchased at their HQ in Nairobi, Anniversary towers. That means that if you live in Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru...you probably have to incur costs of transportation of the same when required by a prospective client. This is limiting. Ideally Pillar Technologies should have offices in major towns where clients can pick up the starter kits without incurring extra costs. Excelsior

How does this help me recruit new subscribers since I am now a distributor....what you are doing is promote a pyramid and since its illegal now you are using airtel as a cover,and this is why. 1.Why would you use a 'ported NO.' instead of using a number that promote the brand. 2.Why do I buy the Kit from you instead of buying it from airtel offices and name you as my 'invitee'. 3.Nothing in your advert links you with airtel how sure are we you are not going to swindle us? @ Selah, Pillar Technologies Ltd is the company that is doing the multilevel marketing for AIRTEL. You are not dealing with airtel directly. The bit about it being a pyramid scheme is debatable. I must admit it feels a little unsustainable in the long run. A bit like a legal "elegant" pyramid scheme Excelsior

Mathematically speaking, over 99.9% of the people who join will not make any money, will indeed loose money chasing an elusive dream while enriching the top cats, and that's 100% guaranteed. It's mathematically inevitable. It's designed that way and the loss rate is way worse than for a straight forward pyramid scheme like DECI etc. who's loss rates averages 85%. No difference with a host of other MLM's, be they Tianshi, GNLD, or any other practicing worldwide. The system stinks and will wipe out many people. Sent from my Black Nokia 3310
