Airtel has started a distributor programme but more of Multi level Marketing for you to promote their lines and get paid good money, all you need to invest is 1985/-kshs only to start, you must have an invitee though, which can be me to join the programme.

Your are paid 300kshs for very person you join and 100kshs 2nd and 3rd generation
and 50ksh for 4th and 5th generation

Its very easy to do.

This looks like a pyramid scheme to me.Two questions.

1.Where do you deposit the 1985/= with airtel or with you?

2.How does Airtel make its money i.e why would they pay such huge sums of money if I only brought a distributor and not a subscriber?

1.Answer. you dont deposit money to me, you buy the kit, comes with online account, 500/-airtel airtime and booklet.
2. Its definately not a pyramid, airtel wants to get more subscribers via mlm. thats it.

Is it me who is not getting this proposal? What exactly are you selling, lines? How do i sell a line and then invite the people who have bought them to start selling? d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

This multilevel marketing company is called Pillar Technologies. See: http://www.pillartechafrica.com/. Apparently this program started in december 2010. The one problem with the programme is the distribution of the starter kits. The starter kits are currently being purchased at their HQ in Nairobi, Anniversary towers. That means that if you live in Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru...you probably have to incur costs of transportation of the same when required by a prospective client. This is limiting. Ideally Pillar Technologies should have offices in major towns where clients can pick up the starter kits without incurring extra costs.
