Title says 2 TEU, body of the story says 1 TEU. Which is it? Is it an empty container or is it laden? If laden, gross weight?

@Mjuaji, by rail it will cost you 62,000KSH to nairobi. But problem is that it might delay by 1-5 days.By road transport its 80,000KSH from new transporters and 90,000KSH by established transporters.Sice tranport costs reflect on the final costing just do rail transport.ity will be 30,000KSh cheaper.

Don't you need a lead car with a banner "WIDE LOAD"? And what about accommodation for the driver(s) as there is no cabin to sleep in and the trip will take 4 days?

Laughing out loudly heee! did this truck arrive?
you made it sound too complex for the guy.
No one asked him if the tractor was imported in a container because it would hv cost him approximately 85k by road depending on weight
if it's not in a container there are costs to hire from carrier alongside transportation.
And lastly it can come on low loader whose costs will be determined by weight or volume.
no need for escort if it's not abnormal.
Rail is cheaper but delays?
