I think it is because of the statistics released yesterday forecasting inflation to rise up to 23% by December. Quite worrying statistics and those statisticians should be lynched if it doesn't happen. Good thing is as others sell others are buying and I can tell you which one of the two is happier. BBI will solve it :)

For sure the happier one is not the one taking the money to the bank as a hedge

My worry is, have we bottomed out yet? Those buying may have made a bargain, but are there better bargains(lower prices) ahead.. African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

High interest rate & inflation have made 4400 a distant barrier. 3000 will come when the elephant aka scom trades at 3/- or below & equity below 20. Then it will be a proper bias sell market for the buyers $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

@Guru where you at? What's your take on this fall? Are you the happier ones selling or the happier ones buying? You lose money chasing women, but you never lose women chasing money - NAS

Market is cyclical, up down, up down, up down. No big deal. Do your analysis and buy stocks that are discounted relative to their real value. Am putting my cash in TPS, EABL, KK and KCB Life is short. Live passionately.

What we should be disputing is the argument that Trancentury and Britak listing will be ignored by many. NO NO NO NO. Where then are people taking all this money to? Am sensing people are just more focused on IPOs and fresh listings forgetting about the old stocks, but to my advantage. BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY!!!!!!!!!! I wonder why? 2012 perhaps? In ghana atm, and the listed companies arent great. Fan milk 18pe. Stanchart 22 pe with very inconsistent earnings unlike back home. Basically ur not spoilt for choice here. Guiness not all that either so in comparison we have a greater choice back home.
