d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!
After 168 years of publishing lungula news and bursting world's celebs doing ninio and tapping phone calls from the Royal gossips,Britain's most successful Tabloid in terms of readership and publication is closing shop on 10-Jul-2011 for good.

This is after they were caught tapping into phone calls of private individuals.

Good riddance, hopefully all of Murdoch's 'news' companies close shop.
In a place where thought is abandoned, freedom can become a curse.

@impunity, @grolut - Don't celebrate yet. You have been played. The whole world has been played. The Murdoch family were planning to get rid of the paper and replace it with The Sun on Sunday (or an almost similar name). In so doing, they would greatly reduce costs because the Sun and the Sun on Sunday will be run as a single entity with the same resources. What they saw here is a chance to kill two birds with one stone. Case in point, NO senior manager has lost his/her job because of this. Only some hapless journalist who were not even there 5yrs ago when this phone hacking was taking place. Only 3 or 4 employees have been with the paper for more than 5 years. Even the editor has been with the paper for only 3 years and is the one who helped clean the mess left behind!

One; The paper will be back in a matter of weeks - as the Sun on Sunday or some other name. Mark my words.

Two; Most of the employees will be absorbed back into one of the Murdoch companies or even the "new" the Sun on Sunday.

Hii inaitwa Smoke Screen!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

At leasts here is a brother who can see and discover how the pigs use deception to fool the whole world.
Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom.
When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.
