Idea: HIV/AIDS vs Leukemia

I'm no scientist nor am I in the medical profession but my theory is that, if HIV/AIDS causes a lowering in white blood cells and Leukemia an increase in these then instead of focusing on a cure why not find a way of using something in Leukemia to raise the white blood cells of HIV/AIDS patients.

'Dawa ya moto ni moto'. I remember seeing in that movie about a 'bushman' that when a fire starts in the wilderness, you need to burn a patch in front of the original fire and escape to this patch before the larger fire reaches you.

Please try to somehow understand what I'm pushing, because that's the only way I can try to connect the two ideas.

The white blood cells produced by the bone marrow in Leukemia are immature and of no value in fighting infections.

This topic was covered sometime back in detail by @BNG or something like that, I cant remember the handle.He had all the expertise i regards to HIV and how well it can be tackled.Lets hope he sees ur query and post the link to the post.
