I was thinking I invested some money in some shares in January but to date not much has come out of them apart from the poultry dividends am getting if I sell right now and get the same amount of money I had in January I will have gone at a loss since I cant buy the same things I would have bought then there prices have sky rocketed so my question comes back to does your investment cover inflation.

Hii ya poultry dividends ni gani tena?

Otherwise, i once tried using a formula to calculate my profits, and included the following;

i. Include 2.1/1.9% commission during purchase,
ii. Include
- 1-2% p.a when investing for at least 3 months,
- 3-4% p.a when investing for 3 - 6 months,
- 5-7% p.a when investing for 6 - 9 months,
- 8-10%p.a when investing for 9 - 12 months,
- 12% p.a when investing for more than one year.
iii. 2.1/1.9% during disposal.

WARNING: This system failed in 4 of the 6 shares i tried on it due to profit warnings, speculator, fear, greed, etc!!!!! User DISCRETION is advised.

Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi
