Everything will be free apart from a small fee for research reports I.e Ksh 150 reason its time consuming to come with such reports.

The Metamorphosis from http://contrarianinvestingkenya.blogspot.com to http://www.contrarianinvestingkenya.info.ke

Members pay a give away fee of Sh1200 Per annum or Sh 100 per month to access top quality company research reports...from now onwards all company research reports will be done with inputs from respective companies.

In the days when I used to invest heavily in stocks, I discovered that I could only make good money if I did the stock research myself. This is especially the case at the NSE, where brokers are adept at front-running. Front running is where you put in your money in a stock either before an order from a customer or before you issue a BUY BUY research piece.
It’s not that difficult to do research at the NSE, just depends on what your appetite for returns is.

deal, be cautious of seeking input from the respective companies. Management have a cunning ability to sway thoughts. Look at how Britak changed your mind...

Other examples, Access Kenya 'assured' investors that they would make a profit on the last announcement; Olympia have always been "confident of results turning around for the next year". What that KAKUZI guy told Surealligator. Similar results are many.

That's why many people do not believe research results from brokerage houses; because they are paid to do those same results and give a favourable opinion. These said brokerage house may be affiliated with the respective companies and the research reports end up being distorted. FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. In Kiswahili, we have a proverb: "Kiema chajiuza, Kibaya chajitembeza" Loosely translated, the good stuff can be clearly seen without promotion

But if your sole aim is on getting that paper, you are on the right path brother. Applause Applause Applause Don't stop. LET'S GET IT!

@ yucnt my point exactly. When @thedeal does a comprehensive analysis on a co. then the next thing he's wining and dinning with the same company execs seeking their views.it kind of throws cold water at the credibility of the research.
No pun intended though. Lolest Laughing out loudly .

@deal, i can't pay for company research for a listed company everything about them is available in public, a lot of research reports on NSE are slanted and that's why i prefer wazua everything is in the open and critically reviewed and most of it accurate, the moment you start charging for reports you stop being objective like the brokers. I would suggest you do public reports once you build yourself a good reputation, you will get the recommendations for research on the non-listed companies, that's where the money is.

@deal, yes i'm not good in numbers but i can quickly read through the balance sheet but what i need in looking at companies is to know if the accountants are cooking the books, overstating income, understating liabilities that's where the research is which i don't find in most research reports, there are only 50 or so listed companies and there are thousands of companies that change ownership everyday and that's where the investors will pay for research.

I actually think your research is good actually made over 100k from your uchumi research but honestly if you had asked to pay for it, i wouldn't that's me and my peculiar kenyan habits. The cash you will make online is by attracting a lot of visitors and then get advertising revenue, i think that's the wazua model

Then, please do not sign up. Simple. No need to berate the young Namibian who provides a service for others at only 100/- per month.
Now you made 100K from @thedeal's work/research, so send him at least 10K as a gift...
Yep, @mkonomtupu lives up to his/her handle!

come on @vvs even you can see how absurd it is to ask a young man to "provides a service for others at only 100/- per month" puliiz!

@deal, let me tell you one thing about this town if you don't learn to put value to your work then you will be a doormat, people will step on you on their way up, that's what Britak did(sorry to be blunt but that's the truth). If you charge 100/- guess what your target client will think it's only worth 100/- they will pay you but will not value it.

When it comes to making more money, most people look at the world and see the same opportunity they’ve seen before: typically, a job. Because they don’t awaken their mind and expand their vision, they don’t see other opportunities. Yet opportunities do exist. So how do you change your thinking so you can see them? One way to jolt the brain out of its preconceived category thinking is to bombard it with new experiences.
— Joe Vitale

I sure hope you get my point, I really do
