Hi wazuans

I would like to request your advice on the best way to give health cover to my employees. we are about 5 and most group covers go to 10

I am looking for outpatient services or a way to manage outpatient ie they can go to hospital and we pay, upto a certain limit or something like that . I am also looking for affordable inpatient for everyone

Thanks in advance

Talk to a Insurance consultant you will get a substantive advice before you make a decision. Never take a health cover from those salesmen and ladies...they are just after the sale hence commision..and will mislead you badly,i have had a bad experience with them. Inbox me on lkaptich{at]propertyzote dotcom. I can recommend to you a very good consultant at no cost.

@ Clickme. The cheapest way is to get a group of 10 so that you get a corporate cover. Since you are less than 10, you can opt for a personal accident cover which covers accidental injury only - there must be physical injury hence excludes homa, malaria, kidney sujui what, high blood pressure etc... Then you select a limit that is within your budget.

You might want to know that a WIBA cover - worker injury benefits act cover is compulsory in Kenya. Your staff can sue you if you do not give them this cover, which covers them for injuries sustained in the line of duty. Its not expensive and if you give an insurance company each of your staff's salary per annum, they will give you a quote.

All the best.
Lord, thank you!

...Health Cover (particularly the outpatient) for less than ten people can be got from AAR or Resolution Health or other similar health service providers which are not insurance companies. Insurance companies are risk averse and would prefer corporate clients. Alternatively if you wish to purchase Personal accident cover for each of the employee separately or a group personal cover in the name of the company, or if you are interested in discussing the alternatives available then talk to me: bayfieldinsurance@gmail.com
