The best part in all police investigations in Kenya is how fast they are usually to speak to the media minus doing proper investigations.
I believe that when the time comes for the police reforms to be done,we expect total overhaul and we need to see Iteere and cronies headed for retirement.

University student in Ng'oa Reli Mode....They've given the cops 3 days.In this one,i would support as long as they don't loot or stone innocent motorists.Let them go and turn Vigilante house upside down.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

[ki-nyama wrote:]After going through all the theories, could it have been that given the dealing of one WK,this girl was set up by her "friends" and may be she was on a mission to be recruited in the pharmacy trade?
Assuming she never know what kind of party this was, she innocently agreed to accompany the said friends only to realise it was more than what she thought. May be she then protested and walked away only for fate to befell her considering that pharmacy trade is very secretive and they normally target the very innocent in the society. So, I beleive the said friends somehow holds the key to what happened and they need to be investigated further.
That my take.[/quote]

If the cops were interested in getting to the bottom of this matter they would align themselves to this line of thought. Where there's smoke... and where there's a pharmacist...

The police force/service should make sure that in every police station, there are at least three policemen who THINK, on a totally different salary scale, different training and with enough powers to order the other policemen - who clearly DON'T THINK - on what to do. I am serious on this!

Some wazuans fit the bill as do many other Kenyans. If each police station would acquire the services of two carefully selected wazuans we would increase the crime solving rate by up to 400%.

The problem is not equipment and all that stuff. It is POLICEMEN/WOMEN WHO THINK!!! Period!!!

Sad indeed. The family must be devastated. Cant imagine the pain they feel.

The cops should seperate and interogate her friends seperately, ditto WK's bodyguards.

But i fear cops might not want to pick this case, least they start bleeding from all open holes........

@Maich, it is very hard to think when you pay me 18k and I have a wife and 4 kids...the reforms required in the police force will be drawn out for a long time and will be very painful - and I personally think might end up being a double edged sword that will force many of the cops to become thugs i.e. those who aren't already

True. But just because nobody THINKS in this whole government setup. In other countries, such police officer are kept "under watch" for some time. They are removed from the watch list using some predetermined formula. For example, if you go on to become a chief security officer of some company, it is assumed you are less of a risk now. If you move to a slum and start drinking kumi kumi, we watch you even more! Kenya hakuna mtu yuko na hiyo masaa - na hakuna TKK hapo!
