This war was fought a long time ago. Unless someone's willing to go into another Cold War with the US, I believe capitalism is the way forward.

-Capitalistic way of life are good for evil people.
-Socialistic ideologies works on the premise that everyone is equal in terms of productivity and consumption.

@Wazuans, TZ tried socialism, and they got was a slow and lazy people. Chinese argue that they are socialists, but, truely, looking at the fundamentals of socialism, chinese CAN NEVER be classed as a socialist people. China is a DICTATORSHIP.

Therefore, capitalism is here to stay forever. Just to show you why, try to list the main principles of each of them, you will just notice how impracticable SOCIALISM is for a human being, or even, an animal.

Working hard & smart makes people more. Truthfully, wouldn't want to share with lazy guys my hard earned money. All capitalism needs are checks & good working regulations.

....maybe I should start by arguing that socialism is the future let's build it now! Forget about lazy populist capitalist propaganda ...... History has it right that capitalism has been reinventing its self and surving one economic crunch after the other from 1930 todate....the big question is this sustainable? when the capital owners control everything and continue to a mass wealth, exploit those who sell themselves everyday to offer labour to generate this wealth? When the gap between the the rich and the poor widens? When the quality of the life deteriorates ? We have the outright capitalist practicing leftist policies, the obamas health plan, the bailing of Opel GM all this are socialist tendecies. Honestly if the situation continue like this then masses of the world that are selling themselves everyday in terms of offering labour will become militant and the environment will not be conducive for investment , so the workers may take over private co operations and industries and this may be the start of socialist in Europe, Africa, Asia..... and the fall of USA. Maybe should do more reading about Peru, Bolivia, Brazille, Venezuela ....as we speak the economic base in this countries are overwhelming keeping in mind that Bolovia is from war, ....... Socialism can work and it's the future, capitalism may reinvent itself into socialism as matter of convenience!
Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.As we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

The big corporates in America, who also have a back-hand in the government decisions, are so unbeleivably entrenched in capitalism, and so is our world today, that I doubt socialism would come back.

The trend seems to be capitalism followed by philanthropitism, after the billionaires reach the apex of maslow's hierarchy.
