Offer of Employment

After review of your application by the selection and screening panel, I am pleased to inform you that you have been offered employment in our reputable Hotel. Your appointment was based on skills and some core values found in your application.

Your employment goes with a starting monthly salary of £4000.00, Air (plane) ticket, a furnished 2 bedroom apartment at our staff quarters near the Hotel, transport allowance, annual vacation and bonus, life insurance policy, pension scheme, free medical care to mention a few. Your contract is valid for a period of three (3) years and the Hotel may, at its discretion, retain you as permanent staff upon its determination that you have met the performance targets set for you as well as your contributions to the growth of the Hotel. This offer is subject to a probation period of 3 calendar months.

You will work Mondays through Fridays from 0800h through 1700h with the lunch break between 1300h - 1400h. You are expected to work for eight hours every day i.e. 40 hours per week as well as when required, to complete critical tasks after hours. Overtime is paid only in exceptional circumstances and prior approval is essential.

Your annual leave allocation is 36 working days (i.e. 3 days per month). In addition, on completion of each leave cycle in December, there is an annual leave bonus of 5 days (i.e. a maximum of 41 days in total per year). You are allowed to accumulate 58 days of leave. Annual vacation goes with leave and travel allowance of £1250.00. Your are entitled to a maximum of 65 working days sick leave with full pay over three year cycle, provided that a medical report is furnished. The notice period is three (3) calendar months from either party.

If you are interested and willing to work in the United Kingdom, then we can only give you a maximum of 18 days to get your travel papers ready from your side as it is now compulsory that the position be filled within 30 days as instructed by the Board of Directors of the Hotel. However, if the processing will delay from your side then we can consult an immigration or travel agent on your behalf to process the papers from here. If our offer is acceptable to you, print out, fill the acceptance line at the end of this letter and return the signed copy within 48 hours along with details of your nearest International Airport. Do not hesitate to call me on my direct line: +44-844-774-9743 should you have any question with regards to this offer.

Congratulation and Best wishes,

So after checking out the salo i couldn't help but check it out. A few things i noticed are

1. The letter doesn't indicate the position being offered

2. The website looks bogus for such a "5"star hotel. Other than ask you to book for a room or apply for a job vacancy there are no other links such as restaurants in the hotel, services they have etc

3. There was no interview before the selection..d'oh! Shame on you Shame on you

4.Lastly i used Google maps to search the location on the hotel and voila! couldn't find it.Sad Sad

Anyone out there with the same offer?

What is the end game here mimi sielewi??d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

The only question here is... did your 'close' friend apply for the job?

Haha that is so funny. I went to university in Brighton and know that street very well as my friend lived on it. As far as I remember there are no hotels on that street. It is quite a short road and is essentially residential. There is no way such a large hotel can fit on it. Unless this hotel is a bed and breakfast in someone's house, I'm very skeptical.

Additionally, that web address looks dodgy ...hotel.com-ltd.info.

Arilas Executive Hotel employment offer is legitimate. They gave my daughter a job in Brighton, East Sussex and she has since reported to work at their hotel. They provided the air ticket as well as accommodation and also assisted in the processing of visa acquisition for my daughter and we are happy as it came out to be real 'coz I thought it was a scam initially.

Go to Google maps, type in that street and go to street view, then tell me if what you see matches the photos.... or even better still, try booking a night at the hotel through their website...
