I am shopping for individual pension plans for my self as my employment does not offer any. Please advise on what considerations to make as i check out the different providers in the market.As well i'll appreciate you could give me names of the best pension providers in terms of returns.

Try Vuna scheme operated by Alexander Forbes..I am happy with their returns and customer service so far.

Second that, can't prove it but I understand they had the best return of all IRAs last year.

It is good to look for an individual pension plan but your money will be of less interest, you would rather invest that money elsewhere and invest in either property or stock market. simple look at this and map the way forward after retirement http:///www.infinitydownline.com/?id=triads

Try jubilee their customer service is crap but the returns are okay last year 12.75% other years 8% minimum contribution is 4000/= a month for two years, with pension look for stable returns and a company with a solid past.Try also kenindia

start by building your pension before you start on stocks and property and start early enough even with a lumpsum, you only begin to see compound interest at work after a number of years
