Visited industrial area branch and was stunned to be told that they would charge ksh. 100 PER PAGE of statement. Can they at least squeeze money from us in a more customer friendly way like 100 bob per month OF STATEMENT or so, but per PAGE (cost of paper + ink?)!!!!.
Thought every branch is your branch as my branch charges me 100 bob per statementREQUESTED.

Did you know cost of money transfer from dear KCB to another bank is double cost at BBK?
This mwananchi bank is costly,

The cost experience with this bank is frustrating.
External standing order @ 500,
Now statement @ 100 per page.
By the way, They never send even Once a year that statement.

After they upgraded their system in 2007, i've received no more statements, not even the annual one. I've visited my branch to no avail. Solution is to subscribe to their e-statement and you'll have your account statements and balances on the go.
Some of their charges are ridiculously high but you'll like their Advantage product as a corporate where they charge a std 900 per month.

Urgh!! not another thread!
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

@Silk, the e-statements should be a nice solution, and at this rate wonder if it comes with strings attached-findings so far?
The stanchart one is efficient though

Do what I do, get ATM mini statements regularly and use them to update your personal finance program (you OF COURSE have one) - if not, download a free one, I use Jabp, very light, simple and has both pc and mobile versions. Of course the mobile version will not work on a mulika mwizi.

It was agreed in the AGM to stop printing annual/quarterly statements and shareholders agreed if memory serves me right. It was too damn expensive....

Which statements? financial for shareholders or bank statements for customers? Assuming for customers, with Temenos 24 they should be able to send by email so cost marginal.
