Apparently The company does not intend to sell its Kenyan operation anytime soon ,they only backed out of an advanced negotiation into a buyout of two telcos one in uganda and another in congo. http://www.indiaincorpor...tml#.TfiguDQdbkM;twitter'......to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.' Briliant thought KenyanLyrics,,MTN has always yearned to establish a foothold in Kenya, EA. Some gut feeling tells me this is the moment. Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value. –Albert Einstein.

MTN already took of Uunet; and thats a sizeable data market. To have to take over YU gives them space both for voice (Yu) and data (Uunet). Could this be the reason why Yu consistently affirms they are not going into 3G? Just hypothesizing ...... The laudable is more often than not rendered laughable by overclaim
