Stanbic Bank Notice of Interim Dividend
The directors have declared an extraordinary interim dividend of UShs 5.27 per share for 2009. The share register will close on 30th September 2009 for purposes of preparation of the dividend payments. The dividend less withholding tax,where applicable,will be paid with effect from 30th October 2009 to shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 30th September 2009. Shareholders who have not received their dividend payments for 2006,2007 and 2008 are advised to contact the Company Secretary as soon as possible.

Lol,This is one interesting counter...Just after they've paid us the 5.860 dividend..smile

SBU had just concluded a 30bn Bond and were able to realise 27bn.........total interim dividend pay out is 27bn.....impressive counter with the most activity ont he USE .

Guys i'm in Kampala,what u got to do diwht your dividend cheques is just open an account with Stanbic Bank at Busia Branch (U.G side) then bank these cheques bi-annually...think abt it as a small piggy bank coz i've worked in Nbi and know bank charges for Ugx transactions............

they had a profit after tax of 46billion as per half year results.hoping better things to come.
