As for now you better buy williamson tea and kapchorua tea as their results are to be announced before the end of the month. But make sure you sell the shares after the announcement and cash in your capital gains.

@ the deal-just wait and watch...Williamson tea will rally. But you need to make the right move off when to offload the shares.

Agreed but sometimes you come to wazua and from the discussions you can spot bargains case in point sasini and uchumi. anyone who followed the two would have ended with a tidy sum.

Williamson will pull a surprise in results, but its share price won't. Kapchorua is trading at almost its lowest in the last 12 months (103), ukinunua leo, Kesho utauzia nani? KPLC, i never understand this stock (note: am a lay man with some cash!) There is KPLC trading at 201, another at 21 and another at 0.55!

Buy Safcom, at least i know, hence can advice, that its trading below its par value and IPO cost with a guaranteed annual dividend of 10cts! Am rushing to my broker (Equity Bank Isiolo Branch, can someone please advise me on any better broker around here?) to buy some at 3.90.

@dunkang, you are a funny layman smile

On KPLC, today the best buy order for KPLC is at 21.50 while the best sell order is at 21.75. Wazuas, is the price of 21.50 a good bargain

with all due respect to WAZUA and Wazuans, would someone PLEASE help me understand what all these KPLC (the 0.5, 21.5 and 201) are all about! Ama hii ni ile startegy ya Capitalism, i.e Classification of everything! High class, middle class and low class cost?!d'oh!

Forget the 0.55 it was the closing figure when the rights were trading...the 201 could have been the price b4 the rights and split..the price for kplc an instant buy now is 21.75 ..i seek any corrections.

ha ha. Its times like these when i rem im a vet. Dunkang it is exactly as mmn has explained. The only price you should be worried about now is kplc trading price of 21.50 the others were before and during rights issue and are irrelevant. Is kplc a buy at 21.50? I think so, though after seeing it at 21.00 for months i personally (feel cheated) find it hard to pay the extra 50cts. Esp with my average price of 20.00.

I like KPLC coz even with the drought the total customers have INCREASED, the total sales of units are UP since KPLC has improved the network. Look around you as new poles & lines are installed.

The number of blackouts even with the low rains has dropped since KPLC & KenGen have partnered with IPPs so KPLC has enough stima to sell!
