I like the statement by john gethi of gicheha farm.

"Farming is not what to do when you retire," he says. "You need to do it now.. when you are young and with energy to endure the rigors"

Who on the forum has experience with cattle keeping? Is this just lip service or do brookside pay well for the milk they receive?

I am keen on going for the cattle show this week at Jamhuri park? Maybe we do not have to harvest rabbit urine after all to enjoy financial freedom.

farming is really enjoyable . trust me..when you just settle on a ranch somewhere ( central province, Laughing out loudly) and with a nice farm and some dairy cattle and beef cattle to boot . its really nice.

You do not need big acreage to venture in daily farming.
