investment of any kind should not be done in the spirit of competetion but that of corroboration and cooperation.

Some stocks offer a short term capital appreciation, you can make quick bucks from such stocks and sell off after enjoying capital gain.
You however need a crystal ball and due diligence to identify those stocks.

At the height of th bull market durable competetive advantage business can reach prices at which it makes business sense to sell
and might be buy back more units at a lower price.
