The ever enterprising kenyans invade the erstwhile unoccupied island of Migingo, lying right next to the border, on Kenya's side. Fishing: accross the border in the rich waters of Ug, n remit their 'stolen' catch back to Kenya i.e migingo. Ssevo gets wind of this, consults baks to have his tax men on the island, but to allow the people continue fishing in his waters. Clever kenyans shift to the nxt Ugingo, to evade ug taxmen. Ug police follow them there. Let us STFU n enjoy the fish!

I didnt say its the best way. We do our shit in our waters n these guys will go. So long as we are STEALING their fish, we r the ones benefitting lakini kawaida ya kenyans ni nyef nyef tu. The merille issue is a different issue altogether.

I have always wondered why RAO n Baks have been so quiet on the issue. These two fellows know alot that we dont, its like a silent pact. Me thinks we are the beneficiary of stolen fish, which Ug can ONLY control fm migingo. If guys keenly listened to ssevo earlier on, "....the islandi isi in Kenya, the water isi in Uganda..." That is the exact summary of the whole matter.....unfortunately our pple cant keep off Ug's waters.

@Lolest, the islands lie right next to the border (eastern side of the border). What ssevo meant is, our mboys stay in our islands, but fish in his waters which are right adjacent. Ukitoka migingo kidogo westwards, you are in Ug, n thats where the waters are flourishing with fish.

i am just wondering..

1. uganda has very many islands on their side of L. victoria... one particular set of islands is called ssesse and i hear they number around 84.. why would he (sebo) be chasing two islands..

2. who decided which island's are whose... are we sure if a refenrendum was carried out today.. the dwellers of the islands would chose kenya as a country of choice..
