Will Safaricom lose its claim about Kenyans losing jobs?

I am waiting for lower call charges once the new lower interconnection charges are implemented!

I prefer Safaricom data for speed but Airtel is much cheaper for those who do not need speed...

If calls at 1 bob are ''unsustainable'', why do Safcom have such an offer?

Who cares who is in management most people look at who owns the company as well as service delivery Zain used to parade kenyan managers esp Clare ruto and another lady who is now in YU but this did not help in any way.

I think the statement below does not have any basis whatsoever, since safaricom has had foreigners in its top echelon since inception.

Quote:
“The company has been seen as a foreign and Safaricom has been using this card very well, by putting more locals at the management level, Airtel is possibly trying to use this strategy to prove that it is a locally driven company and have the interest of locals at heart,” said Mr Mureithi.

The issue that plague Airtel is consistency and the way it communicates its value prepositions just look at its adverts apart from being below par they constantly attack safaricom which in most cases are frowned upon by die hard safaricom customers like ME.

They need to change their brand attributes and appeal more to our emotions but if they continue the way they are marketing their brand they will continue occupying the No.2 slot for a long time.
