Just when I was giving this region positive reviews on tranquility and serenity. I asked a local boda rider why there are very few people around the rural townships, mostly older people. He explained how most of the youth fled to the city following unrelenting police crackdowns on all young men. Infact, crime rates are extremely low in Mo. The latest development is very saddening. If it happens to be mungiki, all the remaining village mboys will be forced to flee. On the flipside, Murang'a town appears revived, vibrant, organized, very secure n very clean too.

I'm afraid latest trend has seen guys quoting The Nairobi Star at an alarming rate!

Why would the police behead a lady and not just shoot her dead? beheading is a Mungiki trade mark. Someone send in the kwekwe

I do not treat "the Star" as a serious paper.

Well, KTN facebøøk page had the story too. The star is catching up fast with timely, relevant news generally ignored by the rest.
