I have been watching this WHO OWNS KENYA programme on Citizen Prime. Yesterday I saw them profiling Uhuru Kenyatta, glorifying his billion dollar investments, and all I could think is of how rewarding thievery is in Kenya. For me I was able to snap out of this trance after a few minutes of contemplating, but I can imagine there are scores of Kenyans who are being influenced by the thieves being worshipped on this programme to think that stealing is the best way of accumulating wealth. I really think they should do away with profiling those who have accumulated wealth by dubious means. This programme should be scrapped, as it does no good in inspiring the youth. They should replace it with some differently named programme, with the same purpose of profiling rich fellows. It is better to profile some inspiring guy who has accumulated wealth of 50 million legally, than to profile those who have 50 billion illegally, ama?

Its good to know who owns what in Kenya irrespective of how this property was acquired, cause even if these fellows are not given audience they will still own this property. Maybe 1 day they will be asked to account for how they acquired that property. If in Gichuru's case they was no further probing in his divorce who would have know that he had hidden money in New Jersey.

the programme is Ok but I have a problem with it because it is never accurate.There is very poor research to it.

The Journalist golden rule is "if in doubt,leave it" .This rule is not followed by Citizen.

I agree with @sanity. Who owns Kenya is very Kenyan. Get wealth by all means necessary. What Samuel Gichuru has done is similar to what so many do at a much smaller scale yet they are throwing stones at him!

I would prefer a programm on young people who are getting wealthy through creating value - like what Kiss FM does with guys under 35, who are making a difference - and the difference is genuine effort, through legal means.

I find 'who owns Kenya'not inspirational ..... for lack of better words.
