It is called the Rock-it by a company named Origaudio.

What is it's purpose?

It saves music lovers from having to carry around bulky speaker sets when going on trips.

How does it do this?

Instead of producing the full audio output from a device, it emits only vibrations. It can then be stuck onto ANY hollow device and voila! You have a speaker for your trip!

Check it out here: http://www.origaudio.com/products/rock-it

We can use this thread to post any other awesome innovations that we come across.

I thought sound IS vibration....
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Vibration is the oscillation of fluid or solid. The machine converts solid vibrations into air vibration and your finally converts the air vibrations in to sound.

Therefore it is incorrect to say sound IS vibration.
