Let me counter this bashwagon as usual. There are real wife batterers (mental cases) n there are those who get into fights with the woman n of course win (the society still castigates them). To me, its all relative, and usually, things arent as they seem. I once had a rather violent lady, very provocative, n nothing would stop her once her ire hit the tropopause. Now tell me guys, niketi nichapwe? No way! I realized rather late that I would eventually end up the loser, n quit the investment. Where Im now hmmm.....I thank God 4my Godsent princess. People are different, some can easily drive u to temporary insanity till u Wanjiru uaself or Ouko somebody. Never rush into a marriage. This guy just screwed up though, he should have run away if the bibi was the aggressor.....And I have doubts he woke up n started nyoroshaing the poor lady. That looked like a fight.......I wont throw a stone till I hear the man's story.
TULIA.........UFUNZWE!

Not excusing the man, but I hear the wife is not blameless in all this. Ni bibi wa aibu sana, frequently airing dirty laundry in public. I can see how this may have deeply upset a diplomat.

Now, that, is "disciplining" which all men need to do to their wives..... Go on guys, there you have it!..... Thanks @ecstacy

@Wendz - your welcome. He’s such a lively and jovial person. Can’t believe he could do this. Nothing warrants that kind of domestic violence.

I honestly don't care if he is a lively or jovial guy. Actions speak louder than words and what he did is absolutely inhuman..he should receive twelve strokes of the cane..i can see his defense, temporary insanity.Give me a break!

@Wendz tell me what can make a diplomat bash his wifey of 20 years like that?
Its purely lack of discipline.
Thank God the wifey is still alive, were it a Kenyan Kisii or Meru we hwould be talking about transport arrangement from the Lee Funeral.Shame on you

To me this envoy is a star, without discipline life is worthless...

@impunity Shame on you .... what if she is your mother, sister or daughter will the person who beat her be your 'star' ...

“Violence against women is perhaps the most shameful human rights violation, and it is perhaps the most pervasive. It knows no boundaries of geography, culture or wealth. As long as it continues, we cannot claim to be making real progress towards equality, development and peace.”

If you found a gardener inside her you will go and burry your head in sand?
Discipline was not meant for primary school kids and jail birds, but for wayward wifeys too.

@Impunity, you need to take back your statements....this is crazy!!!

Impunity, your statement was on the extreme and in bad taste, there is no license to barter your wife like this dude, withdraw!!!!

@McReggae I would not dream of battering any women that style in my life, leave alone a wifey.
But I believe what must have expose the animal in the diplomat is grave!
Kwnaza the way the wifey has bleached her face and neck area tells alot...
Let me withdraw the the "Discipline" portion awaiting further input from the "accused"...I may just return the "discipline" part agin, in a more viscous form now.

But seriously,y give bibi kichapo ya mbwa like that - those photos r distrubing! It gives the man no right to lay a hand on bibi - afadhali umrudishe kwao & you live in peace. The envoy is BK even without hearing his side of the saga!NKT!

The photos are sickening. This diplomat guy is heartless! Hara kama the gardener was inside there are better ways of handling the issue. Hata kama Wifey ni kichwa ngumu aje nobody has a right to do that. It's inhuman, uncouth, barbaric to say the least. My pole to Mrss. Nigerian Diplomat. Shame on you Mr. Nigerian Diplomat!!!
