Yeah, remove the tax credits and you are left with an eps of about 2.40. Now would you pay 17 bob for this?
1) How did you get 2.40 as EPS (if there was no tax credit}?
2) A 'normal' business has to pay tax on PBT so the (forward) EPS should be adjusted for tax when comparing against other investments
3) A PER of 8 is good but I think the DILUTED (since more shares may have been issued) EPS will be lower than what it shown
