Blackburn, Wolves, Birmingham, Blackpool and Wigan on the brink of relegation! One more match to decide who's going down into the Championship.

Birmingham and Blackpool are relegated!

Wigan won 1:0 at Stoke, and Blackburn won 3:2 against Wolves. Wolves are spared due to superior number of goals scored. Birmingham lost 2:1 at Tottenham.

Okay, what does GGMU mean?

NINE points!!! And at one point we thought it would go down to goal difference. What a happy ending.

Arsenal end up in their familiar position - fourth. I guess they have to work harder to get their success - 2nd position.

Liverpool, no Europe. I don't know how much SAF is interested in Pepe Reina but it's now easier to get him unless of course he believes in "Kenny magic"

Blackpool. I'm happy with our win but it was sad to see Blackpool relegated. They really entertained. Hope they are promoted soon though it will be tough with their budget and the fact that they will lose more than half their squad.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

They are not universal/common initials. At least I haven't seen them before but I should have guessed. Thank you anyways and GGMU indeed.

Enyewe hapo @Maich nimekutoa points but never too late to learn...

I felt for Blackpool because of the enterprising football they displayed all season, the 3rd own goal was their undoing, had hoped they draw so that they survive and we remain unbeatenbut c'est la vie.

Birmingham deserved to go down with their anti football, hope they stay there too, it'll be very tough for Blackpool to bounce back coz they'll surely lose some players.

'Arry said that qualifying for Europa has a flip side - with matches being played on Thursday, they'll be distracted from that 4th spot so Liverpool missing out could be a blessing in disguise.

As for Arsenal, I hear that movie called "I am number Four" was released with them in mind - sorry gooners, couldn't resist.

So much for the league being close, 9 points gap is quite something, too bad Carlo got the wrong end of it -if they replace him with Hiddink, Chelsea will be as dangerous as ever.

What a season though, haters you can wait for 28th to open your mouths again but rest assured that if we win that 4th CL title, you'll never hear the end of it. GGMU!

I know Glory, Glory Man Utd. I should, I wrote the song. LOL. It's only I didn't connect the initials with the phrase. Who uses the initials anyway? I can see you are using them for the first time too thanks to @Jus Blazin and @modo. Pointed noted though. SWWTCL.

What's That Saying About Lies And Statistics?

The worst United team in years: come on, look at the achievements!!!!

1. Won the league by 9 points

2. Contains the Premier League's top scorer (21)

3. Enjoyed the best home form in Sir Alex Ferguson's reign, winning 18 and drawing 1

4. Picked up more points than the Treble winning side of 1999

5. Booked a place in the European Cup final

6. Contains the player with the most Premier League assists (18)

7. Lost 4 games, which was at least 4 games less than any other club

8. Scored more goals than any other club (78)

9. Failed to score in just 5 games, which was less than any other club.

@McReggae Says:-

The current Man U squad is a very good one despite what some people are saying. It has performed better than other previous squads it is being compared with. McReggae producess evidence to support what he is saying.

@TAZ Says:-

The current Man U squad is better than Arsenal, Chelsea and all the rest.

@MaichBlack:-

Agrees with both of you.

By the way @McReggae, you forgot to tell @TAZ that Man U set an EPL record on Sunday by winning the 15th straight home match. And the good/bad news - depending on who you are - the counting continues as soon as we start next season (The one Arsenal always wins the league! Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly )

Oh, one more thing, SAF has won the League Managers' Association (LMA) Manager of the Year award. The award is voted for by bosses from all four divisions in the English league. I guess they are all wrong!
