I think we need to have two veteran levels:

Organic Veteran - grows with time, gives measured responses, yule ambaye ana d**ya mapoint.

Genetically Modified Veteran - full of steroids, posts to anything regardless of subject matter, in an effort to reach veteranhood.

While congratulations are quite in order, wewe ni veteran mgani?smile

Congratulations Veteran The Merchant. The link to the ranking of MNCs in Sub Saharan Africa is:

http://www.theeastafrica.../-/6b170iz/-/index.html

http://igdleaders.org/do...ers-on-the-Frontier.pdf

The 3 Kenyan companies which appeared in the top 30 are:

KK at 2nd position
KQ at 6th position
KCB at 30th position

The 1st postion was taken by a Nigerian petroleum company called Oando.
HAs Equity been excluded coz it is in only 3 countries? Coz otherwise it makes NO sense!

Equity leads both in growth of profits, market cap & customer numbers!

Hmmm... What does the tape say about AK?

Last week when safcom announced their results, the AK counter had a major share volume churn. You would need to go further than 6 months back to notice such a volume spike. The floor is about to be removed, but nobody noticed... By end of 2011 8/- will look handsome!
$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Its seems they were only looking at the number of countries present. Cause that's the only reason why KQ is in the listLaughing out loudly

Thanks.
I think Equity is missing on the list because its only in Kenya, UG and Rwanda. When they go panafrican they will top that list, ditto safaricom...

Equity was highlighted in the report as a high growth African company. IMHO, although Equity did not make it to the top 30 this time round, it will top the list in the coming days due to it unique growth strategy. What I dont understand is, why are foreigners selling their stake in Equity? They are driving the share price down
