I have a few problems with this:
First it sounds like a 'Mouse-Milk' kind of product. They say that mouse milk is very similar to human mother's milk. Thus if the mother of a child dies, you can feed the infant on mouse milk and s/he will grow normally. The only problem is that it is very difficult to catch one mouse...and you need thousands to feed a human baby....and also you need to make sure that your 1,000 mice are all female and have recently given birth!!!
Of course,it will be easier to look for another breast-feeding human mother and she will only be too glad to feed the extra child....or if in town, buy formula!!!!
Now,the science is not convincing. @pm says that Nitrogen is a poorer conductor of heat than air. This is not true. Thermal conductivity of air is 0.024 W/(mK)....and that of Nitrogen is 0.024W/(mK). They are identical!!!!!!
Their thermal expansions coefficients are also identical; that is,they expand at the same rate as the temperature is increased.
The slower deflation is due to the fact that air has a higher moisture content. This moisture condenses under pressure thus causing the deflation.
Finally,@pm writes ... in most gas stations these days you have to pay about $.75 to inflate tyres,to fill your tyres with nitrogen is about $10.00 and you'll not need to be checking air for a while ... .....
Now in Kenya, air pressure is completely free of charge and you can fill up as many times as you wish as frequently as you need. Many times I have gone with a 'slow puncture' for weeks, just topping-up every two or three days.
Thus, this will only work if petrol stations start charging for pressure.....now that will be the day!!!!
