Jambo Wazua. Can KQ post a 60% rise in profits? secondly do you think the div will rise back to ksh 2 and lastly when do you think the results will be released? Asante.
1. On announcement the price should hit atleast ksh 49

What was the profit py? What absolute figure in bns are you looking for in the upcoming results?

3. not sure about the rights issue Cant put increased dividend and rights issue in the same statement - that as George Herbert Bush would say, is voodoo economics.

1. On announcement the price should hit atleast ksh 49. DEPENDS ON THE RESULTS BUT I DON'T EXPECT IT, ALTHOUGH I WOULD HOPE FOR THE SAME.
2. Div of atleast ksh 2. MOST DEFINITELY NOT.
3. not sure about the rights issueNOT SURE ABOUT THE SCOPE AND PRICE/TERMS ETC, BUT FOR SURE IT IS COMING. I AM IN KQ, BUT WOULD ADVISE YOU NOT TO BET YOUR HOUSE ON IT. IT HAS BEEN KNOWN TO HURT PLENTY OF FOLKS.

No increased dividend! They are looking for 'cash' so paying 1/- = 462mn in dividends. Paying 2/- would mean an ADDITIONAL 462mn... Very doubtful! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
