Why hasn't anyone considered
murder? What if Wanjiru was hit with a blunt object on the head then pushed off the balcony?
I think the system is rigged against men. Imagine a reverse scenario. Husband comes home, finds wife with another man in the house (maybe he had come to collect an 18,000/= unpaid bill), wife ends up below the balcony - dead! Husband claims he locked them up and she must have fell from the balcony.... Where do you think the husband would be?
I think, as a last duty to his son, the mum should bring in investigators from outside - even though the scene has be tampered with - to do a thorough investigation on how Wanjiru died. Given Wanjiru's status in the world, she might not even need to pay. Just ask for the help and it will surely be given.
To the rest of us, let's forget Wanjiru's domestic issues and honour the man. He managed to do what no other Kenyan has managed to do in the entire history of this great running nation. He won an Olympic Gold in the marathon - in Olympic record time just for good measure. And he did it when he was only 21! Add to that what he had achieved before and what he has achieved after the Olympics and you will see what a great sportsman he was!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
