And btw, what happens to uncollected dividends sent through your mobile. The number could be due for deactivation or someone can pass on. Is safaricom going to end up having a lot of money in its hands with no one to claim it?

MoE-KPRL-KPC,a putrefying trio.By the time the dust raised in the oil industry settles there will be casualties among them.KK management saw this from a mile and has stood up against their rotten ways,do we still have some who think KK had no case?

More woes for KPC. http://www.businessdaily...0/-/kwq1dj/-/index.html
I wonder what will be left for Kenyans after all the claimants have taken their share. Does KK have first claim?

ive come to love this share, its just beautiful. aah the press statements, enlightening, envigorating. the price may be stagnated now, but the day its true value will be unlocked, it will be unbelievable, awaiting Q1 results, i know they did well The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

The endless tussles in the oil industry just took another twist. BD has slammed KK in a hard hitting editorial referring to Monday's KK's press release on the impending price rise. Without refuting any of KK's assertions in the said press release, BD implies that KK was just out to profiteer. See link: http://www.businessdaily...4/-/74ww57/-/index.html
You can now see why I did not include KK on my X-Factor list. Although I am a big admirer of KK, the oil industry is rather murky and little understood by outsiders who will only be too quick to cast aspersions on any profits made by oil marketers. Rather interestingly, BD does not identify the rogue marketer by name even though it should be clear to all that they are referring to KK. Would it be because they are afraid of a libel/defamation suit? After all, KK has shown itself to be quite ready to take on all comers in the corridors of justice very robustly.

Meanwhile the focus shifts back to the Ksh... This time I expect Ksh 90 to be tested. The last time I stated this, I was told it was blasphemy, but I somehow escaped the stone-throwing $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Who wrote this article? Seems like a friend of kiraitu or nyoike. For the past 2 months, KK gives their version of where the prices will be based on their experience. Just coz ERC is in charge of setting prices does not mean KK can't give its opinion, after all when I buy $ for the future, I ask the bank for its opinion on where the KES is headed. When African Alliance, D&B, etc give stock 'predictions' isn't that the same? Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

I suspect what KK did was stop the faceless players from raising the prices come 14th. These hoarders are now sitting on petrol they will not be able to sell at their preferred price, and as long as it sits the finance costs wipes out their margins.

The article is so biased, no mention of erc's role is the turmoil. I think, if kk hadn't released the press statement of the 6 bob increase, we might have seen, a six bob increase. The article detered erc. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself
