Has anyone ventured into sale of rice,mwea pishori rice,what are the prod and cons ?

@aspirin..........be causious,trend carefully,i hear that with mwea you have to be a member........if u know what i mean.Some time last year a guy had just ventured into the Mwea thing,he was warned not to go into that business,he was shot just days after the threat,they did not take the 600k he was carrying.

Do your home work vizuri before venturing into this,all in all i wish u the best of luck.

An interesting thing that happened a couple of years back, was finding out that rice from outside the country eg Pakistan, is cheaper, almost by half, than rice grown here in Mwea. If it's a business venture, you may want to weigh your options.

Pakistan rice is not sweet.........like do you notice the scent of good rice when its being cooked,that is Mwea Pishori,unlike that for Pakistan it does not have scent and if it has its not an inviting one.Try it,you will see the difference

Ha ha as a consumer of rice, I never notice the scent but the looks. If its long grain and well cooked, most consumers may not care/notice whether its from Mwea or Pakistan. For an investor, I think your should consider all options - local and international as long as nutritional value is not compromised. We are in a global economy, so.....
