Where is the Suntra office in town? Please tell. PKoli, CIC has been managing to significantly increase their EPS consistently even with increasing number of issued shares? Impressive. They also have a lovely building at Upper Hill GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

This was based on the shares as per December 2010. The additional rights brought the number of shares to 60M and this will be captured in next years annual account; assuming there will be no bonus/splits. I think the scenario will change after the AGM. @Bartum, I will talk to Suntra and then revert.

I got some extra shares transferred to me last week.If and when the split is approved after May 14th AGM,will these new shares be included in MY math?Or is it as at end of Dec 2010? Tried calling CIC but the gentleman who deals with shares always seems to be out of office. Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.

Usini sahau bro. @Bartum, I will give you 500 at KES 65 a piece. That is the lowest sellers are willing to give. I am told there are some sellers at KES 100 per share

NO DIVIDENDS FOR THE RIGHTS ISSUE SHARES GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
The directors recommend the payment of a first and final dividend of Sh 95,913,574 (2009: Sh 34,238,000) which amounts to Sh 3.14 (2009: Sh 1.60) per share

This is against their promise in the I.M for the rights issue. Why on earth didnt they honour it or even explain it in the report.I see a deliberate plan to edge out the new shareholderrs in sharing of the dividends for last year.No wonder they put the word 'All shareholders' in their advert so we dont notice!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not read their IM but having been a shareholder since 2007, they only used to pay shareholders who were on the register as on 31st of previous year. The rights issue has not been concluded. The AGM needs to ratify additional share issue.

I needed some more shares to add to my 2,500 (including 22% I'm waiting to be allocated) but at 100/= per share I rest my case. The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.
