Truth be told, kq is like a shiny red new sports car, cool and great when you get it, then you realise its not so practical, so you just lock it up in the garage since you cant get rid of it without shooting urself in the foot why you got it in the first place. But one bright sunday, you take it out, and brag the hell outta it, if you find an unlucky admirer, dump it on them fast or else its back to the garage.

Guess i'll just stick to my family wagons.

Poor QW... what do you want me to say?

I never sold any KQ at 32 or 33 or 34... but while folks like you bashed it... I was picking up a few [& KK too!]...

Watch me reap the benefits!

Folks are focused on 9 dreamliners... That is good but I am focused on the 'death' of competition as fuel prices rise for other airlines. As a passenger, not good! As a shareholder very good!

Fundas & TA (Einstein)and Behavioural Analyses (Darwin) . . . a good stock for a case study. Guys sold at 32 and now guys are willing to buy at 40, with little additional material info (Dreamliners, female pilot, Q1 numbers . . .)

I have been studying the behaviour of a number of stocks, price movements and trading volumes, hoping to model stop-loss (its cheap but it can get slightly cheaper, should I panic?)

One notable and outstanding factor seems to be disclosure.
- Although KQ promised to keep the public updated on the additional capital thing, they have gone mute since.
- KenRe is the other where they forgot to disclose DPS (am not sure of book closures)

The market obviously doesn't like that. Questions are: is this fatal to investor value? how will the market respond to it? Should I panic?

KenRe (yes), KQ (no). Who is with me?

Hi wazuans. Am thinking of exiting KQ today at 40 (bought at 32.5-32.75 on 7th Apr) n buy either KenyaRe or KenolKobil. Wat is your take on this? Cheers!
