yes!! that was the headline in the most popular daily newspaper on saturday...going by what i saw the previous day, most of the kenyans were least concerned and a sizeable percentage were unaware of the wedding...the headline depicted the exact opposite of what was happening on the ground...

i was in shamoneq area of marmanet forest planting trees...of all the hundreds of people that were present nobody talked about the wedding!!!!!NKT!!

this nation newspaper BK!!!!!
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

Over 2 billion people watched this wedding,a third of the world population. Does you think they are stupid? Ignorance is bliss

I doubt a third of the world population watched this. How did they come up with those figures? Considering a huge number who did not care that there was a wedding, it was also a working day and at the time of the wedding, it was working hours in Europe and Africa. In some places, it was dark and may be some guys were asleep in some other continents.

But even if my analysis is wrong, I like what Sunny Bindra has put it in the Sunday Nation. This perfectly represents what I thought about it.

two million is quite arbitrary & misleading, even here at wazua i doubt anyone watchd.
Of the kenyan homesteads barely 20% own a tv. Of the over a billion chinese population how many give a f@& about a british wedding broadcast in a language they hardly understand?
How many muslims watchd? Those in gainful employment were too busy leaving only househelps & housewives to watch
