they are scared coz they will definitely lose out. some of us wouldnt mind free calls if it goes to that point.

All Safaricom's moves are motivated by profit, so yes, they would probably lose money if it happened

When you sleep at night, what makes you feel better? the fact you spent less on calls or the fact that safcon defended its profits and charged you more?

It's Safcom's right to protect its business value. I think the prices are probably as low as they should be, so let's leave it at that. I would like to see better prices on data, though.

whichever way we look at it, its just time the best prove to be best in the market. no more cushioning from the government and few individuals. one becomes a warrior not by locking himself under house protection but by going out there and face whatever condition thereis provided. now saf is behaving like our politicians who fall back to their tribal cocoons when faced crisis

CCK should go ahead with this plan..safaricom must face the reality on the ground we want to talk cheaply if browsing is ksh 1 per minute in the local cybers why should voice be that expensive.

Safaricom must work to make their processes efficient to compete or they leave those who are able continue offering cheap voice calls.

Ati the grobal average charge per minute in KES. 4; so Kenyans are really calling cheaply!
But who cares anyway?
