He was, until February, the field service officer of United Nations Mission in Congo. After several years of work, Njal Berg chose to retire, at 59, to a life of bliss. But that dream came to a mysterious end yesterday when the Norwegian and proprietor of 4-Turkeys Bar in Entebbe, was discovered dead in his house.

Berg’s death spread like a bush fire across Entebbe town where he was known by neighbours as a party animal. Berg was also reportedly constructing a beach at Garuga, Entebbe. Information from the police indicates that Berg died after spending a night with a suspected sex worker in his house at Kiwafu village. Residents wondered whether the suspected sex worker had purposely killed Berg or whether he died of excitement.
