An investor without information at his fingertips is like a soldier going to war without a gun, here is a list of Kenyan Websites with up to date investing news, analysis and stock quotes.

1. www.rich.co.ke-provides live stock prices, stock data of every company listed at the NSE, you can also see the live trading spread sheets and volume chats. You also get notifications when theres material announcement.

2. www.wazua.co.ke- what can i say...more than 10000 lions attacking one beast...the stock market. Its a forum where Kenya's brightest mind gather and discuss stocks.

3. af.reuters.com-they provide up to date investing news they're always faster than the local media.

4. www.mystocks.co.ke-another good site, they have tools which allow you to track your portofolio, they also provide technical analysis tools but you have to pay to view the NSE live trading spread sheet.

5. Blogs- i find the following blogs quiet insightful 1. coldtusker 2. Bankelele 3. This one too...Lol.

6. www.businessdailyafrica.com-it belongs to Kenya's sole business paper...quiet useful but always cross check the facts when using it.

7. www.invastragy.com-new but quiet useful at least they do research.

8. Your Stock Brokers website- some of the Stockbrokers update their information on a daily basis i.e Sterling Investment bank, they also post research reports on their websites.

And for news, add
http://www.bloomberg.com/
Like today, they have the following stories:
- Kenya’s Average House Price increases 4.4% in first quarter
- Kenya’s Shilling snaps three-day gain on bank dollar purchases
- Sub Sahara Africa Stocks: Gamma, Guiness Nigeria, Kenya Re Move

I also dig into the Financial Post's archives when I get time. Have picked up odd bits of information about listed companies.
